All orders are placed under the acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions.  

Copyright

The content of this website (www.tranquildesigns.co.uk) including text, images and designs are covered by copyright.  Prior consent must be obtained from Tranquil Designs if you wish to publish, reproduce or download any part. 

Tranquil Designs take no responsibility for obtaining copyright permission for materials used in your stationery.  This could include but is not limited to images, poems and hymns.  You insure Tranquil Designs against any action brought against them for breach of third party copyright. For your information copyright exists on hymns for 70 years after the death of the writer and it is your responsibility to obtain permission from the copyright holder.  Details of the copyright holder will normally appear at the bottom of the hymn where printed. 

Proofs

It is the customers’ responsibility to proof all stationery.  Tranquil Designs accept no responsibility for mistakes made after receipt of an Acceptance of Proof form.  Proofs will be sent to the customer for approval and confirmation.  The customer will return an Acceptance of Proof form confirming all details are correct.  Tranquil Designs will only proceed with your order once approval has been received.  Any changes requested once the Acceptance of Proof Form has been received will incur an extra charge to cover time and materials.  In the unlikely event of an error being made by Tranquil Designs no charge will be incurred by the customer and Tranquil Designs will undertake to rectify the error.

Tranquil Designs take no responsibility for errors in documentation provided by the customer.  

Payment

Tranquil Designs require a 50% deposit to confirm an order such deposit is non-refundable. The final balance is due 2 weeks prior to your order being dispatched; your order will only be dispatched when your final balance has cleared. Tranquil Designs must receive payment in full when placing an order if delivery is required within 6 weeks.  We accept payments by bank transfer (contact Tranquil Designs for details), PayPal Invoice (Tranquil Designs will provide payment invoice) and by cheque (made payable to Tranquil Designs Ltd).  

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without prior notice; this will not affect any confirmed orders. 

Variations between cards

All stationery at Tranquil Designs is handmade to order, variations between stationery and materials may differ slightly.  If Tranquil Designs experience difficulties with their suppliers and are unable to obtain original materials the customer will be advised and materials similar and of identical quality will be provided.  If the customer orders their stationery in stages we cannot guarantee continuity of agreed design. 

Cancellation

Tranquil Designs must be notified in writing of any cancellation. In such an event the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If a signed Acceptance of Proof form has been received Tranquil Designs have the right to collect final payment to cover costs incurred for commencing work on the customers stationery, if no form has been received no further charges will be made. 

Refunds & Exchanges

Tranquil Designs stationery is personalised to each customer and handmade to order, therefore refunds and exchanges are only given if the stationery is found not fit for purpose. 

Complaints

In the event of a complaint the customer must notify Tranquil Designs in writing within 7 working days of receiving the order.

Delivery

All stationery will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier and requires a signature upon receipt. 

Postage and packing will be charged as follows:

Small packages (weighing 0-2kg) £12

Large packages (weighing +2kg) £20

Table plans are delivered separately.  Customers will be notified of the delivery charge prior to being sent.  

Tranquil Designs does not accept any responsibility for delayed, lost or damaged goods by third parties. 

Health and Safety

Tranquil Designs stationery may contain small parts and therefore are unsuitable for children. 

Privacy Policy 

Personal information of the customer is only held for the purpose of making their stationery.
